The new Moto Guzzi Crosswind helmet is the result of the attention to detail that has always set the Moto Guzzi brand apart. Thanks to the shell’s ergonomic design and aerodynamic features, the helmet offers a versatile and safe riding experience.
It is constructed from a three-layer composite comprising fibreglass, special Kevlar® aramid fibres and carbon reinforcements. The highly resistant yet lightweight shell ensures high safety standards and reduces rider fatigue, allowing even the most demanding journeys to be tackled with confidence.
The Moto Guzzi Crosswind is fitted with a peak that can be easily removed, transforming it into a helmet suitable for road use. The peak has been designed to improve airflow through it and thus reduce vibrations and turbulence at high speeds; it is adjustable in length to ensure greater protection from the sun. It is a versatile, safe and comfortable helmet to wear.
The helmet visor, thanks to two small pins on the sides, is designed for fitting the Pinlock® (supplied); with wider opening angles than standard requirements, it guarantees excellent visibility in all riding conditions.
Designed, tested and optimised in a wind tunnel to achieve the best balance between stability, aerodynamic performance and acoustic comfort.
The new Moto Guzzi Crosswind helmet reduces the frequencies that are most irritating to the ear, offering auditory comfort even over long distances and improving the rider’s concentration whilst riding.
The helmet is equipped with two closable air intakes and two exhaust vents, and boasts a state-of-the-art ventilation system that adapts flexibly to different needs and weather conditions. The helmet is designed for the installation of communication systems and is equipped with two action camera mounts that allow for easy attachment to the top and/or side of the helmet.
It guarantees high safety standards and superior protection, with dual ECE 22.06/DOT certification.
