A special stamp issued by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development as part of the “Outstanding contributors to the Production and Economic System” series. Created to mark the Moto Guzzi centenary, it traces the evolution of the brand’s historic motorcycles with the depiction of two key models: the “Normale” of 1921 and “V7 Stone Livrea Centenario” of 2021. A sketch of a classic V90° twin cylinder engine creates the background setting for the centenary logo, with the word “ITALIA” and the price band “B zona 1” (value €1.15) completing the design. Printed by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato S.p.A. (State Mint and Polygraphic Institute) on white, neutral-coated, self-adhesive and non-fluorescent paper. A special A4, 3-flap folder was created for the occasion, containing a single stamp, set of four stamps, a postmarked abd cancelled postcard, a first day cover and a philatelic card.
